A single patient-specific guide for several complex surgical steps! 💪

In this particular case, the location of the tumor was a big challenge. The objective was to preserve the continuity of the femoral neck without using a medial approach.
The cutting was performed from the anterior and lateral sides, partially through the healthy part of the greater trochanter.
Planning an allograft reconstruction with an additional DHS plate fixation was equally important.
Another nice example of how we can combine various surgical steps within the preoperative planning.
We provided the surgeon with a cutting guide adapted to perform this complex surgical approach and track the DHS plate using only one patient specific instrument. Very efficient!👌
Special mention to Dr. Francois Sirveaux for the realisation of that unique case.👏
